Following his apprenticeship, he developed his own unique interpretation.
Using linseed oil and oil paint on canvas -instead of ink water and Japanese paper- he has created a new expression entirely his own.

Surfboards possess a distinct and dynamic character. The board serves as an extension of the rider, much akin to the KATANA.

His recent works have seen him to venture into new motifs. Among his creations are interpretations of ONI and KOMAINU, MANEKI NEKO, and DARUMA.
